GTZ Powder Coating is a factory trained and certified Cerakote applicator. Cerakote offers over 200 unique and popular colors, and can be applied to all ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastics, composites and many other substrates making it a universal coating as an anodizing alternative. Cerakote is also available in a high temp ceramic formulation for high heat applications such as engine exhaust, cylinder heads, and turbo housings, and is able to withstand temperatures as high as 1800 degrees fahrenheit.

GTZ Powder Coating attended Cerakote's factory training in 2020 and since then honed our skills to create some of the most unique firearms in Texas. We also began incorporating our laser engraver into the process and took firearms to a whole new level. With the combination of Cerakote and laser engraving, the possibilities are endless.
He-Man/Four Non Blondes AR
Customer came to us with a wild idea; do a fully engraved AR, and the theme is the He-Man and Four Non Blondes, What's Going On Video. It took a tremendous amount of design time, and getting the song stuck in our heads, to pull this one off! Composed of 23 different colors, 18 layers of stencil work, and 16 hours of laser time, this is one of the craziest builds to date!
Deadpool Glock
This customer was a big fan of the Deadpool movies (who isn't though) and wanted his Glock to be done as if the Merc With A Mouth commissioned it himself. This was one of the first firearms we did that not only engraved the frame, but also used the laser to reveal sub layers of Cerakote. This allowed us to get details that using stencils just could not do.

Which camp you in? This was our first theme gun and continues to be one our favorites! Each side is full of character symbols and hidden easter eggs. Now that the Marvel and DC universes have expanded even more, maybe it's time to do another one!

High-temp Cerakote
Cerakote also offers a high temp ceramic coating that is perfect for exhaust work. This coating is able to withstand temperatures up to 1800 degrees Fahrenheit and is extremely chemical resistant. It also does not fade with heat and has little outgassing when exposed to heat for the first time. It's also air cured, so it's a great way to get a durable finish on sensitive plastics.
